How to use the batch stl generator for personalized orders
Preview the first three rows of a prepared list and check each model for errors. Full batch exports and ZIP downloads are not available yet. You can prepare names from an order spreadsheet, but this is not an Etsy account integration. Nothing is imported from your shop automatically and no order is marked fulfilled. Choose name keychains, text models or QR models. Your CSV and names are processed on this device. Keep the original export unchanged and make a minimal working copy containing only the fields needed for generation. Remove shipping addresses and unrelated customer notes before loading it.
- Build one representative design in the single-model tool first. Confirm the font, physical size, base and any ring or QR settings in your slicer.
- Upload UTF-8 CSV or paste a plain name list. For a plain list, turn off the header option so the first name is not lost as a column heading.
- Review automatic Order and Name mapping. Open More column mappings only for settings that are actually present in your file. The Etsy option extracts Personalization from Variations; check its result against your real export.
- Preview three rows and review the status of each one. Correct spelling, missing glyphs and invalid dimensions in your source. Use the single-model tools for individual STL downloads. A ready preview is not a completed physical order.

Common problems and fixes
Names are wrong
Review the mapped column and whether the first row contains headers. Do not ask the parser to interpret free-form customer instructions. Prepare a clean approved-name column instead.
A few rows fail
Read each error in the manifest. Missing glyphs, invalid numbers and overly long text need correction in the source. Valid rows can still finish. Keep row references intact when rebuilding a subset.
Frequently asked questions
Can I try it without Shop?
Yes. The current free batch tool checks the first three rows. Full batches and ZIP downloads are not available yet. No account or payment is needed for the preview.
Does this connect to Etsy?
No. You supply a CSV. The documented export-shaped fixture has not been verified against a real shop export, so inspect your actual columns.
What happens if I cancel?
The worker stops and no partial ZIP is downloaded. Completed row checks remain visible. Run a deliberate smaller batch if needed.
Can I sell the files?
No. Generated digital model files may not be resold as products. The current free licence is for personal use, and commercial licences for physical prints are not available yet. You still need rights to the source content.
